Trump Vows to Return Hostages to Putin so he Can do the Deal Right
Atlanta, GA – In a rally in Georgia over the weekend former president Donald Trump was seen attacking the US and praising Putin over the hostage deal. To prove himself right Trump has promised to return the hostages to Putin so he can ‘make the deal great again.’
“It is time for America to see how a real man grovels to a dictator,” said Donald Trump. “If I were president, I would give Brittney Griner, Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan back to Putin so America can see this deal done right. None of these wishy-washy alliances with European countries, just one man-to-man deal between Putin and I!”
The comments came after a 24-person exchange, including 16 people released from Russia. It required the cooperation of 10 countries, causing Biden to chime in that “today is a powerful example of why it’s vital to have friends in this world.”
The exchange showed a moment of profound weakness in Putin, who became desperate due to the poor handling of the Ukrainian war. Republicans are bitter as Putin had promised the hostages to Trump and now wants a redo, according to posts on Truth Social. Reality has not stopped the media or Republican Party from creating spin against the Biden-Harris administration.
“It is sad to see such celebration and happiness coming out of this deal,” claimed Project 2025 director, and Trump advisor Paul Dans. “It is disgraceful the president and VP sang happy birthday to a hostage’s daughter, greeted hostages coming off the plane in DC, and even thanked the pilots for returning them home. During a Trump presidency, we will never show the weakness of compassion in the face of the enemy. To prove it we will reset our relationship with Europe by redoing these negotiations all over again.”
It remains unclear where the negotiations were mishandled but Trump suggested several weaknesses he saw. “When Evan Gershkovich was returned, the Wall Street Journal refused to give the president any credit at all, weak. When I renegotiate it every Murdoch publication everywhere will praise me for months straight for making this deal great again!”
Ignoring Trump, Harris struck out an optimistic tone on the deal.
“It was a joy to bring these hostages back to America and watch them reunite with their families,” said the VP. “We hope the world is watching and understands America will stand up for freedom from authoritarian tyrants everywhere.”
